Job Description

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing, reviewing, and entering credits into the billing system, ensuring accuracy according to contracts and equipment schedules.
• Setting up new account information in the billing system and contacting new customers to address any inquiries.
• Reconciling accounts receivable accounts to the general ledger and updating customer accounts with new billing information.
• Generating miscellaneous non-rental invoices and responding to billing questions.
• Participating in system upgrade testing and performing other miscellaneous accounts receivable duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of accounting or business experience, or equivalent college coursework.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Dependable and detail-oriented.

• Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience in customer contact and service.
