Job Description and Duties

Staff Psychiatrist, Correctional Facility (SAFETY)

Hourly rate: $169.49 - $174.40

Limited Term 12 months; may extend or become permanent.

This Job Control is listed until filled. Review dates include: 4/18/25, 05/02/25, 05/16/25, 05/30/25, 06/13/25, 06/27/25, 07/11/25, 07/25/25, 08/08/25, 08/22/25, 09/05/25, 09/19/25.

Psychiatrists currently employed by the state of California interested in additional part-time appointments (up to 40 hours/month) are encouraged to apply. These positions are distinct from primary roles and cannot be supervisory, managerial, or executive roles. Onsite options may be available.

Additional info includes:

• Time worked is not overtime.
• Work outside normal hours.
• Work schedule determined by the hiring location.
