Your Role Includes: - Performing holistic patient evaluations, prescribing appropriate diagnostic tests, and tailoring patient care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions either independently or alongside a physician (per your scope of practice)
- Guiding patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Dispensing prescriptions and initiating treatments as permitted
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Accurately recording patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
Education Needed: - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications: - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a suitable equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
