Your Responsibilities - Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or collaboratively with supervising physicians
- Educating patients and their families on health promotion, preventive care, and managing medical conditions
- Prescribing medications and therapies compliant with your professional qualifications
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
- Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)
Mandatory Education - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials - Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or the respective specialty certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
