KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our Global Information Solution Group, part of KPMG International. Responsibilities Incorporate security best practices into application design and development, ensuring adherence to the secure solutions development lifecycle. Develop high-quality artifacts such as reference architectures, pattern documents, and whitepapers to facilitate secure and repeatable product and solution design. Perform application threat modeling to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks. Conduct security assessments of systems and applications, including design reviews, security testing, and risk evaluations. Create and maintain reports on the security posture of applications and infrastructure, including metrics and vulnerabilities. Develop and update security standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Qualifications Minimum of ten years recent experience in areas such as Security Architecture, threat modeling, identity management, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, or network security. Bachelors degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Deep understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, and application security. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, Azure Cybersecurity Expert, or similar are highly desirable, along with strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their security features. In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, industry frameworks (CSA, CIS, NIST, ISO). Experience with security assessment tools, CI / CD security integration, and secure delivery models.
