Sheboygan Auto Group is looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to join our growing team. This person will be critical to our success within our sales organization, and will lead the team to capitalize on every lead. We're looking for someone who has experience growing sales within the automotive industry, a passion for coaching and leading a team to hit their targets, with a desire to get to the next level. The ideal candidate can step in and take over, but we will provide necessary training for the right candidate. What We Offer An Aggressive & Rewarding Compensation Package 401(k) Plan Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Disability Paid Vacation Paid Personal Leave Paid Holidays Bonus Programs Vehicle Purchase Programs Schedule flexibility Ongoing training and career development opportunities Responsibilities Manage departmental expense and revenue objectives You will be expected to accomplish sales objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the activities of the sales department Focus on employee retention and employee development practices Set a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit Drive the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations Manage the sales process with Sales Associates, ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing Partner with General Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory Assist in managing controllable expense elements for the New and Used Vehicle Departments Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance results Assist sales associates - be the product expert & sounding board Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly Hold yourself and others to high moral and ethical standards and conduct yourself with honesty and integrity Participate in the new hire and interview process Oversee CRM usage Create, maintain and measure business development processes Qualifications Must have at least 2 years of Sales Manager experience in a car dealership Prior leadership experience Drive to meet, and exceed, sales quotas and goals Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and dealership personnel Self-motivated with a positive attitude Professional appearance and demeanor Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially phone and email Commitment to ensuring high customer satisfaction About Us Since opening our doors, Sheboygan Auto Group has kept a firm commitment to our customers.
