Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial heating and air conditioning systems, has an opening for a CAD Designer at our corporate office in Bryan, OH.

With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

Scope and Responsibilities:

The CAD Designer creates and maintains solid models of products and components. From the models, the CAD Designer provides detailed drawings and renderings.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Works with Engineers to create solid models using Solid Works for new product designs.
• Works with Lab Technicians, Model Makers, and Engineers to refine the models following prototyping and testing.
• Create and maintain drawings for product maintenance, generally associated with ECN requirements.
• Develops forms and other associated items as required for other departments.
• Develops files and provides support for manufacturing and production requirements.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

• Associate's degree in CAD or related field is required, and 1 year of work experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of CAD software.
• General mechanical engineering understanding.
• Ability to think analytically.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Computer aptitude (Microsoft Office Suite, Email)
• Ability to utilize measuring tools, such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
