Screen Printing Catcher

The Screen Printing Catcher plays a crucial role in the screen printing production process. This position involves catching printed garments or items as they come off the screen printing press, ensuring they meet quality standards, and preparing them for the next stage of production. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to quality.

Catch printed items from the screen printing dryer and inspect them for quality.

Identify and set aside defective or misprinted items for reprinting or correction.

Accurately count and organize printed items for further processing.

Assist screen printing department with screen preparedness. This includes burning and coating screens.

Assist with loading and unloading items onto the screen printing press as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Report any issues or malfunctions with the printing press to the supervisor immediately.

Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Excellent computer skills - will need to learn industry specific software never used before
• Knowledge of appropriate software including: GSuite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Lift boxes up to 50 lbs
