CDL-A OTR Driver – Straight Truck

Newark, NJ | Onsite | $25–$30/hr

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our team and run regional over-the-road (OTR) deliveries throughout the Northeast. If you’re safety-focused, skilled behind the wheel, and comfortable with long routes, this is a great opportunity for consistent, year-round work.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a 24–26 ft straight truck on scheduled OTR routes
• Load and unload deliveries at various locations
• Inspect your vehicle before trips and handle basic maintenance
• Plan routes and deliver goods on time
• Accurately log hours, miles, fuel, tolls, and delivery paperwork
• Follow all DOT rules and company policies
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays
• Take on other tasks as needed

Who You Are

• Have a valid CDL-A license with H endorsement
• 2+ years of experience driving straight trucks
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Able to pass a drug screen, background check, and road test
• Hold a current DOT medical card (or can obtain one)
• Comfortable driving long distances and adapting to traffic/weather conditions

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift with overtime available
• Routes include : Virginia, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut
• Year-round work with steady hours
