About the Role
The Company is seeking a CEO/COO with a strong background in investment and business turnaround, particularly in the small business sector. The ideal candidate or firm will have a proven track record of revitalizing businesses in the $5-$15 million range and be prepared to lead a brand with over 15 years of history into a new era of growth. The role involves taking over as CEO/COO, investing capital, and leading the restructuring and expansion of the business, with a specific focus on D2C eCommerce, B2C digital marketplaces, and a select number of strategically important B2B retail to consumer channels. The successful CEO/COO will work closely with the founder, who will remain as a technical advisor, to develop and execute a comprehensive 1-5 year plan. The candidate should be a visionary investor or partner, capable of bringing the brand back to its former glory and beyond. Experience in the fashion industry, particularly with a focus on digital presence, web, social media, email CRM, and eCommerce, is highly valued. The role requires a strategic approach to the business, including the potential use of owned brick-and-mortar locations as assets for customer service or capital raise and re-investment. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, with the ability to inspire and drive the business forward in a competitive market.
