We are actively seeking a dynamic Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our esteemed executive team, contributing to the ongoing success of our organization while propelling your career forward in the dynamic healthcare industry.
In this role, you will lead the nursing department of our facility. Your responsibilities extend to the clinical practice of nursing which includes directing all services provided by the Nursing Services Department. As a member of senior management this position ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by consulting with facility management in designing and providing total patient care and services at South Sound Behavioral Hospital.
Direct the provision of 24-hour nursing services for the facility.
Develop, implement, and revise corporate, facility, and Nursing Services policies and procedures within the guidelines of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the facility and considering the recommendations of the CEO, the Medical Director, the Director of Clinical Services, and the nursing staff.
Review the progress, quality, and effectiveness of all nursing programs.
Establish methods for evaluating nursing care practices, formulate plans for new programs and changes to existing programs, and initiate and/or utilize studies and research applicable to developing nursing services.
Consult with the CEO on the development of long and short-term facility projects, goals, and objectives of Nursing Services.
Establish nursing committees as needed for quality and patient care needs.
Strategically solve problems that encompass the larger view of the organizationand establish goals by utilizing an understanding of organizational dynamics in planning and problem-solving.
Your Experience Matters What we are looking for:
Education: Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field required.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) yearsexperience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred.
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $150,000 - $170,000 annually. We are eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)!
