Class B CDL Driver Position Available - P referably with Haz-Mat endorsement.

Southeastern Paper Group in Lakeland, FL is currently looking for CDL Delivery Drivers with Class B CDL license; preferably with Haz-Mat endorsement.

Position Summary:

This would be a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with a 5:00am start time until route complete, depending on the length of the delivery route. Trucks equipped with ramps and lift gates, hand trucks and pallet jacks provided as needed.

This position would also involve route deliveries; most of our deliveries are made to Hotels, Restaurants, and Schools. And while some orders are delivered palletized, others require hand truck delivery by the driver.

Qualifications:

• Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 21+ years of age, a valid Class B CDL license
• A minimum of one (1) year of driving experience
• Must be able to pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card
• Have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures while performing driving and materials handling tasks
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering material to customer sites.
• Drives delivery vehicle and/or trailer combination to transport material to customer sites.
• CDL drivers operate vehicles weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater.
• Assists customers with unloading material safely and accurately, taking precautions to protect product and customer property.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift products up to 50 lbs.
• Required to use a hand-held device, except while driving, to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.
• Verifies order details and maintain log of deliveries, including amounts and/or weights, mileage, and locations of deliveries.
