Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) according to work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure precision and accuracy.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to resolve any issues related to machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and production quality.
• Continuously seek ways to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in CNC machining is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, including G-code programming.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
