Commercial Real Estate Litigation Attorney

New York, NY | Immediate Opening | Leading Real Estate Law Firm

Compensation: $200,000 – $375,000 + Bonus (commensurate with experience and portable book)

A top-performing New York real estate law firm—known for its dominance in landlord-side litigation—is actively seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join its powerhouse litigation group. This isn’t just a seat to fill; it’s a strategic hire designed to support high-stakes matters from day one.

You’ll step into a robust caseload of complex, often high-profile disputes with institutional clients and deep courtroom traction. The role comes with immediate visibility, strong partner mentorship, and a clear track to long-term growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of sophisticated commercial disputes involving:
• Lease defaults, construction defects, title disputes, and development-related claims
• Co-op/condo disputes, human rights/ADA claims, and real estate joint venture conflicts
• Appear regularly in NY State and Federal courts—including Bankruptcy Court
• Advise clients from pre-dispute strategy through trial and appeal
• Help mentor junior associates and play an active role in litigation team development

What We’re Looking For:

• JD from a reputable law school with strong academic credentials
• Admission to NY and relevant federal courts
• 3–8 years of experience in commercial real estate litigation (landlord-tenant, contracts, title, construction, etc.)
• Confident oral advocacy skills and a track record of handling motion practice, hearings, and client advisory with minimal hand-holding
