Job Overview:

The Bureau of Operations Services consists of Computer Operations, Facilities Management, Scheduling Services, and the Mail Center. The Bureau operates on a twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year basis requiring five shifts to maintain the operational production schedule. We are seeking temporary employees to assist with critical tasks in computer operations during the 5th shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am, Friday-Sunday).

Minimum Education:

High School diploma

Work Experience:

No specific work experience required; training will be provided.

Ability to prepare and maintain standard records and reports.

Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

Job Duties:

Monitor console for performance alerts.

Monitor schedule to determine which programs should and should not be running at various times during the assigned shift.

Monitor all facility environmental controls (security, fire, humidity, and temperature).

Prepare and maintain standard records and reports.

Communicate issues to technical staff.

Other job duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills:

Basic computer skills and familiarity with computer systems.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay vigilant during extended shifts.

Effective communication skills to report issues promptly and accurately.

Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Willingness to adapt to a 24/7, 365-day work schedule.

Misc. Information:

Shift: 5th Shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am, Friday-Sunday).

Duration: The position may be extended to a total of up to 24 months.

CDTA bus lines within walking distance of the worksite

Interviews will be conducted online or in person based on the availability.

Training will be provided.

Candidates are required to work on-site as Computer Operator
