Location : Nassau County, NY

Established General Contractor and Construction Manager with a track record of building high-end retail and commercial interiors projects throughout New York City looking to bring on a strong Construction Estimator | Commercial Interiors Construction . They have a growing pipeline of projects and are continuing to bring on exceptional construction talent.

The Construction Estimator | Commercial Interiors Construction will:

• Manage the estimating process for multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely estimates.
• Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to prepare comprehensive and detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor costs, and equipment expenses.
• Prepare and present detailed bid proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project specifications.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure the most cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor and track industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to maintain accurate estimating data and pricing databases.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and contribute to their professional development.
• Collaborate with the project management team during the construction phase to address any estimating-related issues or changes.

The ideal Construction Estimator | Commercial Interiors Construction will:

• 7+ years Construction Estimating experience in High-End Retail and/or Commercial Interiors construction
• Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to commute to job sites throughout Long Island
