Job Details

SUMMARY

• Contracts Manager is responsible for administration of all aspects of Contract Management to assure legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance while assuring the interests of the Company are maintained.
• Within the aerospace and defense environment, the Contract Manager will also be responsible for export compliance, negotiation, and document review while leveraging partnered legal resources.
• This position will also assist in the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:

• Previous experience in Aerospace and Defense contract area (4-6 years preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience managing federal government contracts required.
• Detailed working knowledge of FAR & DFARS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Detailed working knowledge of U.S. Government aerospace and defense industry contractual and purchasing procedures.
• Experience with ITAR and U.S. Government export control procedures.
• Previous experience in negotiating contract terms.
