Cost Accountant – Huntington Beach, CA
Direct Hire | Salary: $75,000-$85,000 | Start: 10/20/2025
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing accounting team in Huntington Beach. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of critical accounting functions, contribute to a dynamic organization, and work closely with a collaborative team. Ideal candidates will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in cost accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments.
Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments for month-end close.
Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly budget and financial reports for management.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts.
Complete daily bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow tracking.
Create ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested.
Support process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting software (NetSuite preferred; Paapri experience a plus).
Experience in the manufacturing industry and cost accounting.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
