Position Title: Campus Custodian
Campus: All Campuses
Reports to: Lead Mesa Campus Maintenance Tech
Status: Full-time, 40 hours

Position Summary: The Campus Custodian shall be a reliable and dedicated team member, working to maintain our five church properties. This person shall take great pride in the external and internal appearance of our campuses, provide careful and thorough cleaning and tidying the premises with great care and an eye for detail.
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the mission and vision of Central Christian Church. Responsibilities: - Taking out the trash and recycling, tidying, rearranging furniture, and wiping surfaces
- Sweeping and mopping of floors, as well as vacuuming carpets/rugs
- Weekly cleaning and sanitizing of all bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
- Restock necessary items such as soap and paper products as well as restocking staff supplied cleaning kits
- General outdoor services and maintenance, such as, sweeping entry area, cleaning glass doors/windows.
- Carpet and upholstery cleaning bi-annually
- Deep cleaning and sanitizing of kitchens bi-annually
- Safe and proper use of insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests
- Confirming all doors are closed so the system can set the alarm at the end of the day
- Dusting furniture, walls, and equipment
- Ordering necessary cleaning supplies, paper products, and general supplies (soap etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: - Strong work ethic
- Ability to have effective working relationships with people of varying skills and competencies
- Currently possess or able to obtain a valid Arizona Drivers License
- Working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances and how to maintain them.
- Detail oriented and conscientiousness
- Understanding of safety protocols such as disposal of chemicals and other hazardous items
- Able to work eight hours on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Some professional work experience as custodian, janitor, or a similar role preferred.
- Flexible schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements: This position is indoors and outdoors. Must perform occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Talking, hearing, seeing, typing is required with occasional stooping, crouching, and reaching being necessary. Position requires approximately 75% standing or walking and 25% sitting.
