We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our National Intelligence Program to be at the forefront of complex data-driven initiatives. The candidate will leverage extensive experience to extract meaningful insights from large, structured, and unstructured data sets. In addition, the candidate will leverage their expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualization. The candidate will drive decision-making processes and strategic planning across various business units. The candidate will also work closely with customers to understand and participate in changing needs and offer recommendations for resolution based on quantitative analysis. Qualifications Requirements: Active TS/SCI with Polygraphclearance. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python, R, and SQL. Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and advanced statistics. Proven ability to work with large-scale data sets and familiarity with data querying tools. Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. Experience with AWS cloud computing platforms. Proficient in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership and stakeholders. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
