We are seeking an experienced Route Driver to join our Old Lyme, CT team! This is a remote position out of the Maryland area, with the meeting point in New Castle, DE. Essential Functions include the ability to load, secure and unload product safely, maintain a route schedule, receive and provide appropriate documentation for delivery of goods, demonstrate communication and customer service skills, handle CODs and delivery manifests accurately, perform vehicle inspections pre- and post-delivery, comply with federal and state regulations, and demonstrate problem-solving skills with minimal supervision. Hazmat training is a plus. Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with prior delivery experience, a medical examiner's certificate, ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record, OSHA certification in Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat, and Security Awareness, CDL preferred but not required, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Working conditions involve frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, and use of arms and hands to move materials, with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
