About Us:

Talent Depot is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client to find a dedicated Electrical Engineer for their Ingot Finishing Department. This role is essential for driving production efficiency, quality, and safety through effective engineering support in production, maintenance, and electrical systems.

Position Overview:

As the Electrical Engineer , you will play a critical role in optimizing electrical systems and managing upgrades to existing equipment. You’ll be a hands-on team member, supporting production teams and ensuring electrical engineering standards are met to achieve business objectives safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Coordinate all project phases, including concept, scope, design, bidding, equipment commissioning, and project closure.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Lead and engage in problem-solving efforts with technical, maintenance, and production teams.
  • Process Analysis & Improvement: Use PI Vision and Data Link tools to diagnose process issues and recommend improvements.
  • Electrical Solutions Development: Design and implement electrical control solutions to enhance process efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Production Support: Assist with troubleshooting and upgrades for PLC/HMI control systems and process equipment.
  • Camera Systems: Oversee installation and troubleshooting of camera systems on industrial equipment.
  • Mentorship & Training: Provide support and guidance to team members on electrical systems as needed.
  • Flexible Support: Primarily a day-shift role, with occasional off-hours support as required.
Requirements Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing electrical projects, with 1+ years working with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives & motors, measuring devices, and ethernet cameras.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Rockwell programming software (RS Logix, FactoryView) and Microsoft Office Suite/Project.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
