Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Director Ecommerce, the Email Marketing and Social Media Strategist will be responsible for cultivating the experience of League Outfitter’s email marketing and social media. In this role, you will be responsible for email marketing and all social media to drive customer engagement and improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

· Create and manage the marketing automation processes to streamline campaigns and improve overall efficiency

· Creating and managing email marketing campaigns

· Create and curate contact lists using our extensive databases

· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape

· Collaborate with product management teams to align marketing initiatives with various product launches and enhancements

· Create compelling copy for various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging across all of the channels

· Send mass emails and SMS messages with the goal of monitoring response statistics for continuous improvement

· Collaborate with the Senior Director of E-commerce to ensure targeted marketing efforts

· Follow market trends, track vendor partner marketing efforts, and monitor successful campaigns for future reference

· Adapt to evolving technology and strive for higher response and open rates

· Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies and report the results to stakeholders. Weekly, monthly, and annual KPI development and reporting. Analyze, understand, and react to KPI reports.

· Build out an annual promotional calendar

· Manage and grow social media presence by creating engaging social media posts, blog content, reels, and stories

Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge of email marketing and social media techniques

· Familiarity with various email marketing platforms

· Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to a variety of targeted audiences

· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork and team collaboration

· Experience with different marketing automation tools to enhance campaign effectiveness

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret the data and make data-driven decisions

· A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar related field is preferred.

· Proficiency in managing a variety of social media platforms

· Strong analytical skills with proven ability to compile, consume, understand, and create action plans to execute on resulting data.

· A high degree of motivation, flexibility, and creativity.

· Organized self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks.

· Experience working with Adobe Suite, Figma, or Canva

Preferred Skills:

· Proficiency in development languages, including HTML & CSS

· Knowledge of industry trends and customer behaviors.

· Knowledge of behaviors and decision trees to create basic analytical reports to identify site improvement areas.

· Understanding of E-commerce compliance to include WCAG, Consumer Data Protection, etc.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· 2+ years of professional email marketing experience

· 2+ years of professional social media experience

· Portfolio that showcases your ability to create engaging content showcasing a well-defined and strategic brand voice
