Job Title: Entry-Level Underwriter - Merchant Cash Advance

Position Overview: We're looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you'll evaluate Merchant Cash Advance applications. You'll work closely with senior underwriters, assessing applicant creditworthiness, mitigating risks, and preparing files for their review.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Review:

• Analyze MCA applications to evaluate client financial health and creditworthiness.
• Check application documentation for accuracy and completeness.

2. Documentation:

• Organize and prepare files in our CRM for senior underwriter review.

3. Credit Analysis:

• Thoroughly analyze credit, including financial statements, bank records, and credit reports.

4. Risk Assessment:

• Identify potential issues or suspicious activity, reporting them to senior underwriters.

5. Communication:

• Collaborate with sales and account teams to clarify application details.

Requirements:

• While relevant experience or internships in underwriting or a related field are preferred, they're not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Background and experience in accounting and banking are required.
