This Emergency Dept Charge Nurse opportunity is part time at 24 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. This dynamic individual will perform a dual function, clinical and supervisory. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, performs disciplinary actions, participates in hiring and termination of staff. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides effective leadership for the implementation and improvement of the required components of patient entered care delivery model.
• Provides care that is respectful and of responsive to the patient values in clinical decision making.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific and diversity needs in care assessment.

• Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of practice.
• Previous Emergency Dept charge nurse experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• Current TNCC and ENPC certification, preferred.
