Position: ERP Tester

Location: One Parkview Plaza, Suite 500, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181

Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr W2 with some flexibility

Position Type: Long-term contract

Duration: 6-9 months with potential extension

Onsite: 1-2 days onsite weekly, flexibility on days; the onsite work will ramp up after January once the test phase starts.

Visa Type: USC/GCH ; we are not able to work with 3rd parties on this position

ERP Testing Analyst:

Looking for candidates with a proven track record in a key testing role for ERP implementations. This includes understating test phases throughout the ERP implementation cycle and the varying requirements.

The primary goal is ensuring the ERP solution meets the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and client resources to understand business and testing requirements.
• Developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scripts focusing on functional and end-to-end business process testing (SIT).
• Ensure test scripts are reusable, maintainable, and efficient.
• Ensure test scripts provide requirements traceability across all phases of testing.
• Create detailed test plans and test schedules based on business processes.
• Assist with test preparation activities, ensuring security and data requirements are defined, testing tools are ready, rooms and resources are available.
• Maintain and update test scripts during test cycles.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes as defined by the testing strategy.
• Managing the testing defect resolution process.
• Manage testers through testing cycles.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related fields.
• 5+ years of ERP testing experience, Infor, SAP, Oracle, including 3rd party integrations using FTP and EDI technologies.
• Strong understanding of various testing types and methodologies (Functional, SIT, UAT)
• Experience with Excel in testing
• Strong writing skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with large groups.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Product Suite, Teams, and SharePoint, including advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Jira or other comparable collaborative tools.
• Infor M3 experience a plus!
