Forklift Driver Tasks & Duties

• Operate forklift or other hand truck

• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory

• Move materials from warehouse to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations

• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company

• Perform cycle counts as required

• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped

• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment

• Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks

• Identify safety hazards in the workplace

• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods

Forklift Driver Shift Info

• Swing Shift, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

• Monday - Friday

Forklift Driver Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

Forklift Driver experience

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US

• GED / High School Diploma

• knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset

• Proficient in mathematics

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations

• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace

• Current forklift license and certification

• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

• Able to work night, weekends, and holidays

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Able to work independently

• Able to pass a background check 

• Able to work in the US
