Job Description

Email Developer Position Seeking a self-motivated and energetic Email Developer to join our team who is experienced in coding custom HTML email campaigns that render consistently in the most popular email clients. Responsibilities: Take designer's final files and slice/optimize/export digital assets using Adobe Photoshop and/or Sketch software. Develop and deliver several table-based and/or responsive email layouts per day. Ensure rendering consistency of email campaigns in webmail and app-based email clients (Gmail, Outlook.com, iOS Mail, etc.) Troubleshoot email client and/or device specific rendering issues should they arise. Be mindful of image optimization and code weight to reduce load-time. Collaborate with designers, project managers, web developers, and QA testers. Adhere to established brand guidelines where relevant. Identify process inefficiencies and evolve process and/or code templates accordingly. Skillset Requirements: 2+ years' experience working as Web or Email Developer (ecommerce industry preferred). Experience with HTML5, CSS3 in email development context. Proficient in Photoshop and/or Sketch. Comfortable using a version control system such as GIT and/or Subversion. Self-motivated to keep projects moving towards completion. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Effective written and verbal communication techniques. Additional Helpful Skills: Experience working as part of a team according to Agile operating model. Experience building/maintaining a SASS framework of utility classes. Experience using NodeJS, gulp, pre-processors, or task-runners. Experience coding interactive email. Proficient in javascript.
