Job Title: Bid/Proposal Manager

Reports to: CFO

Salary: Starting Salary $70K/yr. plus commissions

Location: Plano, TX

Reliance Staffing Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid/Proposal Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven record of success in managing federal and government contracts in the light industrial, admin and hospitality field. The ideal candidate will have strong connections within the industries, a deep understanding of government processes, and the ability to provide references and evidence of past accomplishments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage federal and government contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Identify and pursue new government contracting opportunities to drive business growth.

• Maintain strong relationships with key government contacts.

• Identify opportunities for government contracts through research and networking.

• Serve as the primary contact between the company and government agencies.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and operations, to align contract goals with organizational objectives.

• Draft, review, and submit contract proposals.

• Provide strategic guidance and insights on navigating government procurement processes.

• Monitor changes in government regulations.

• Conduct research on clients, competitors, and market trends to develop competitive proposals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in federal and government contracting, with a successful track record of securing and managing agreements in the light industrial, admin, and/or hospitality line of business.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Established connections within government agencies or related sectors.

• Knowledge of federal regulations and other government compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education (Business administration, Law, or a related field preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
