The Health Educator reports to the Armed Forces Wellness Center (AFWC) Director/ Lead Health Educator and works as a team member in a dynamic group that delivers primary prevention services that improve health and build readiness by targeting the behaviorally modifiable factors most likely to result in chronic disease, injury and/or performance issues. The Health Educator will participate in providing six core programs (health assessment review, physical fitness, healthy nutrition, stress management, general wellness education, and tobacco education) as part of the standardized AFWC program.
