WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This Design position is responsible for increased sales of product and services through the development and presentation of space planning, design, systems and freestanding furniture specifications of increasing complexity, frequently for our clients within the healthcare environment. You will work closely with our client teams to interpret and needs and provide the highest level of design and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient use of AutoCAD, CAP, CET and 3D rendering software to provide appropriate design solutions. Proficient use of PowerPoint and/or Publisher to present solutions.

• Provide technical skills in the planning and design of various workplace environments.

• Independently conduct surveys, site verifications, inventories and other services related to obtaining accurate information to analyze client/project needs

• Interpret clinical and non-clinical workflows to develop efficient code compliance

• Provide accurate and timely drawings and specifications

• Provide technical assistance for installation

• Maintain current knowledge of developments and trends in the contract furniture industry with related products, applications, design concepts, work styles, ADA, ergonomics and uniform building codes
  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Design degree or professional workplace experience equivalent

• AutoCAD experience required; CET experience ideal

• MillerKnoll knowledge a plus

• Knowledge or expertise in systems and ancillary furniture

FLSA STATUS and COMPENSATION
This is a full-time exempt position. The salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 reflects the anticipated low and high end of the range. Additional factors considered in extending an offer may include experience, knowledge, and education.
