Experience:
Must have strongleadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively presentinformation to clinical and business leaders within the organization.
Must have experiencewith Epic HIM. 8 years required.
Ability to work in smallgroups under tight project deadlines.
Working closely withbusiness and revenue cycle leaders around Epic workflow and to translatebusiness needs Epic billing functionality.
Must possess Epiccertification, HIM.
5 years of related workexperience (analyzing, building, and testing) HIM Applications (Release ofInformation, Coding, Deficiency Tracking, and Identity) (Required)
Minimum of five years'progressive revenue cycle/healthcare experience with demonstrated experience inEpic build.
Self-starter with demonstratedteamwork & communication skills.
Excellent communicationand collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal andwritten English communication skills and the ability to interact professionallywith a diverse group are required.
Experience working withThird Party Vendors such as Hyland OnBase.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes, documents, andcommunicates business requirements for new system functionality andenhancements to existing functionality.
Test system changes toensure that they meet business requirements and do not adversely impact otherareas of the Epic system.
Acts as the primarysupport contact for the application's end-users.
Identifies issues thatarise in their application areas and issues that impact other application teamsand works to resolve them.
Guides workflow design,builds, tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated withEpic software.
Identifies, implements,completes integrated testing, and communicates requested changes to the Epic system.
Works with Epicrepresentatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organization'sbusiness needs regarding the project deliverables and timeline.
Performs in-depthanalysis of current and future workflows, data collection, report details, andother technical issues associated with the Epic EHR and designated third-party applications.
Partners with quality,operational, and business leaders on system design and optimization to meetquality, safety, financial, and efficiency needs.
Collects requirements regarding potentialsystem enhancements or new system implementation and prepares details ofspecifications needed; prioritizes and implements requested changes to the system.
Investigates standardization and processimprovement opportunities by rounding within revenue cycle areas while makingbuild decisions.
Validates that data is accurate and meetsbusiness requirements.
Completes integratedtesting to test system changes in all Epic environments to ensure that theymeet business requirements and do not adversely impact other areas of the system.
Troubleshoots andidentifies root causes and documents problems of simple to medium complexityfor assigned applications and systems.
Maintains data integrityand security for assigned applications and systems.
Develops systemdocumentation as assigned per standards.
Developscommunication-related education efforts for deployments, upgrades,optimizations, and other system changes as assigned.
Stays current on Epic application releases andparticipates in upgrade planning and testing.
Participates inperformance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the qualityof assigned work area

Bachelor's degree or 8 years' experience in directly related field
