Responsibilities

• Act as a key resource for Wi-Fi services, evaluating and recommending new and existing Wi-Fi routers.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi-related issues for customers and vendors, providing best practice recommendations.
• Manage upgrades for Wi-Fi products and support new commercial and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) Internet customers.
• Oversee installation, layout, and maintenance of network equipment.
• Design, plan, and provide technical support for a fiber-based network.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the engineering team.
• Support provisioning and technical assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Nokia, Ciena, and Cisco network equipment.
• Intermediate expertise in PON configurations, fiber termination specifications, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with speed test servers, IPADs, and adapters.
• Basic understanding of Unix-based scripting and systems management.
• Excellent project management, written, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and independently analyze and implement systems.
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality.

Salary

• $55,000 - $65,000 per year
