King Machine is seeking a motivated individual with basic CNC and laser experience to join our dynamic team as a Laser & CNC Technician. This role is perfect for someone eager to expand their skills in operating fiber lasers, CNC machines, and SLA printers. Our fast-paced environment offers ample opportunities for professional development and growth, with hands-on training and exposure to cutting-edge technology. This is a weekend shift from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with possible overtime. 

Qualification Requirements

Essential Functions

• Setting up and operating a CNC mill.
• Loading tools into a CNC punch and producing parts.
• Operating a fiber laser.
• Preparing SLA printers for production and launching builds.
• Inspecting production parts.
• Post processing parts (heat treating, tumbling, sorting).
• Implementing process improvements

Work Environment

• Manufacturing-floor setting.
• Climate-controlled workspace.
• Prolonged periods of standing at a machine.
• Regular use of tools and machinery.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
• Exposure to physical hazards.
• Worker is subject to possible bodily injury from exposure to heavy-duty equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, 1-2 years of college education in technical or CNC training preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machines.
• Understanding of basic blueprint reading

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching to access different areas of machinery and equipment.
• Prolonged periods of standing at a machine.
