Lumi Aesthetics is an established med spa offering numerous treatments such as laser hair removal, skin care treatments and aesthetic injectables among many other treatments. We are seeking an experienced laser technician to join our team. Lumi Aesthetics has been providing exceptional care for over a decade in the heart of Quincy Center. As a laser technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe, effective laser treatments that enhance our patients' confidence and well‑being. We are looking for someone who prides themselves in creating a welcoming and trusting environment where our patients feel valued and cared for. Role Responsibilities Perform laser treatments for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, and other aesthetic procedures using state‑of‑the‑art laser equipment. Assist patients in selecting appropriate treatment based on their skin type, goals and medical history. Conduct consultations to explain procedures, answer questions, and set realistic expectations for results. Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols throughout all treatments to ensure client safety and compliance with health regulations. Educate clients on post‑treatment care instructions to optimize results and minimize risks. Document each treatment session accurately for each patient interaction using computer documentation software. At times may be asked to help manage patient appointment scheduling as well as check out process. Qualifications Maintain an up‑to‑date esthetician license valid in Massachusetts. Strong understanding of skin anatomy, skin conditions, and contraindications for laser procedures. Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety in all treatments. Ability to work flexible days which may include occasional Saturdays.
