Key Responsibilities and Daily Activities In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal support across various functions of the organization. A significant part of your day will involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring they align with legal and business requirements. You will handle escalated, more complex agreements and provide expert guidance on legal matters affecting the company. Beyond contract work, you will address departmental issues, initial dispute correspondence, and other legal concerns. Additionally, you’ll contribute to process improvement initiatives, lead the implementation of new efficiencies, and mentor junior members of the legal department to support their growth and effectiveness. Qualifications and Experience Required The position requires a relevant academic or vocational qualification in law, supported by experience that provides the necessary skills to perform effectively—generally equivalent to up to two years in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of legal frameworks and excellent communication skills to interact with both internal stakeholders and external parties. The role demands attention to detail, negotiation expertise, and the ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities. Previous exposure to corporate legal environments or contract management in highly regulated industries will be advantageous.
