Project Turnabout is a high-intensity, co-occurring substance abuse disorder facility with 3 locations in Granite Falls, MN, Willmar, MN and MN. Our goal is to provide a continuum of treatment and recovery services designed to provide the right combination of services to fit the needs of each of our patients. From prevention to detox, inpatient to outpatient treatment, transitional living and our post treatment system of care.
We're looking to hire a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with experience providing solutions for clients with addictions and co-occurring disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to inpatient clients, as well as developing individualized treatment plans for those with substance abuse problems. The ideal applicant will be compassionate and knowledgeable about a variety of addictions, and will enjoy meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
* Manage patient care within the scope of the state guidelines and clinical policies.
* Make referrals as appropriate, to primary care physician, medication management, self-help groups, etc.
* Develop a strong therapeutic alliance with the client, including gathering information to develop an understanding of the client's situation; engaging in active listening techniques, reflecting and summarizing; providing psycho-education; counseling to promote behavioral change and an understanding of the disorder and its treatment; monitoring progress toward recovery goals.
*Qualifications*
* Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) certification
* Proficient in behavioral therapy and addiction counseling
* Strong skills in patient assessment and care
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
* Experience with crisis intervention and group therapy
* Familiarity with medical terminology and records management
* Ability to conduct motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis
