HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds - 14
• Number of Staff – 8 RNs per shift
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs
  • Night Shift – same as days
• Patient Ratios – 2:1, 1:1
• Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps,
• EMR - EPIC
• Typical Procedures: Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
• Floating Areas: Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first - MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
• OT Status: Available

Must Haves:\n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred\n- A recent 12 months of ICU RN experience in an acute hospital setting\n- Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors\n- AK RN License\n- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Certifications\n\nPreferred or Nice to Have:\n- 1 yr of experience recovering open heart surgeries <12 hr. post op\n- EPIC Experience\n- Travel Experience
