WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Boston, MA.  

Job Function:  

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 7:30pm to 8am.
\n
• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician.     
\n
• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to policy and procedure.     
\n
• Ability to explain procedures to patients.  
\n
• Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient.  
\n
• Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.  
\n

Job Requirements:  

\n

• At least one year of General Radiology Technologist experience is required.  
\n
• Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care of all equipment.  
\n
• Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology.  
\n
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program.    
\n
• ARRT certified.  
\n
• BLS certification from the AHA.
\n
