About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director to oversee sales and operations within the market. This role is pivotal in the management of all leagues, activities, and events, as well as the regular mentoring and management of the team. The successful candidate will be accountable for city performance, strategic planning, and the execution of growth strategies for both youth and adult programs. Key responsibilities include managing the city budget, revenue, and league plans, ensuring profit margins are met, and that corporate sales and sports growth expectations are fulfilled. The Managing Director will also be involved in office management, team recruitment, and training, and will serve as the escalation point for customer service issues. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company must have 8-12 years of experience, ideally in a sport or event management and/or business development capacity, with a strong emphasis on team management. The role requires a detail-oriented project manager with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A background in budget management, team growth, and entrepreneurial experience is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, a stickler for quality standards, and have a dynamic personality that contributes to a fun and active office environment.
