Marine and Yard Superintendent: Must have 10-plus years of marine construction experience. Additional job requirements include knowledge of local and federal waterway regulations, tug/barge handling, tug/barge and marine safety, planning and coordination loading and offloading activities, hoisting experience with large support cranes and material handling equipment. Applicant must have vast experience with high current waterways and experience in moving and supervising barge moves in restrictive spaces. Must be able to manage, maintain, and inspect marine inventory to include safety inspections, equipment usage, consumables, storage and mooring requirements. The applicant is expected to be organized and can demonstrate efficiency in planning and coordinating tug and barge movements to multiple water crews on a daily basis. Must also have water rescue operations experience and a thorough and demonstrated understanding of water safety standards and regulations.
