**Job Title: Industrial Machine Mechanic** **Job Description** This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Experience with various tools and techniques, including welding and calibration, is essential. The role involves working four 10-hour shifts, often extending to 60 hours a week, indicating a high level of commitment and flexibility. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain industrial rotating equipment such as pumps, heat elements, gearboxes, etc. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with a root cause mindset. + Perform welding, calibration, and other technical tasks. + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Use hand tools and power tools effectively. + Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Experience with hand tools, welding, calibration, and reading blueprints. + Ability to diagnose and repair various types of industrial equipment. + Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. + Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. + Flexibility to work extended hours as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hydraulics and power tools. + Knowledge of electrical systems. + Experience with pump maintenance, heat exchangers, and rotation equipment. + Troubleshooting and installation skills. + Experience as a helicopter mechanic is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a small shop with a great team and culture. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
