Job Description

Description performs all processes that relate to the delivery of direct and assistive quality patient care in the C-section room or delivery room. Is a member of the surgical team and scrubs and assists surgeons as directed. When not assisting with a delivery, the tech will assist with answering call lights and telephones; will pick up meal trays Will keep triage room ready for patients, including but not limited to changing linen, cleaning bed space, and emptying trash. The tech will also provide basic patient care by assisting patients to the restroom and by transferring patients to triage, radiology, or patient rooms. The tech will also be responsible for stocking the department with appropriate supplies to predetermined par levels. Performs related responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Education Required: High School Licenses & Certifications Required: C-Cert Nursing Asst C-BLS Preferred: C-Cert Med Asst C-Cert Surgical Tech
