GPS is hiring Packaging Operators for a manufacturing facility in Walterboro, SC!

Why Apply:

• Starting pay: $16.00/hr.
• 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general labor tasks on the packing line
• Staple and tape boxes
• Assist with shrink-wrapping pallets and attaching shipping labels.
• Occasionally work in the sorting department
• Operate machinery to load 25 lb. or 50 lb. boxes
• Operate a sit-down or clamp forklift for material handling, loading, and unloading trucks.

Requirements:

• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to engage in walking, bending, standing, lifting, and stooping activities consistently throughout the shift.
• Stable, reliable work history
• Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train
• Prior forklift experience is beneficial but not required
