B. About Your Role

We are looking for an In-House Paralegal and Legal Assistant to join our legal in support of Corporate Counsel . In this role, you will assist with contract management, affiliate communication and disputes, and regulatory and administrative support related to tax credits and internal legal operations, helping to drive efficiency, compliance, and internal coordination.

C. Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and revise contracts, including affiliate and referral fee agreements, indemnification agreements, and client engagement letters used by Occams Advisory.
  • Assist with affiliate and client dispute resolution by organizing records, preparing summaries, and helping draft internal communications.
  • Review and summarize client correspondence and file records relevant to services provided, with attention to internal documentation and positioning.
  • Track and help manage deadlines involving Occams.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, including contract templates, affiliate documentation, and ongoing matter logs.
  • Conduct legal research as necessary under the direction of Corporate Counsel.
  • Assist in preparing internal memos and draft correspondence related to legal positions or strategy and communications to affiliates.
  • Support Corporate Counsel with preparing materials for enforcement actions.

D. Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
  • Experience - 2+ years in a legal support role, ideally in-house or with experience in contract support
  • Essential technical skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF editing tools (specifically Adobe Acrobat), Asana, Practical Law, FastCase, file organization and shared cloud-based systems (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Preferred but not mandatory skills or experiences – background in tax credits
