Remote with in person staff meetings once a month in the Princeton area!

***Must live in the NJ/PA/NYC areas.***

Salary: $80-100K DOE

**4 to 6 years medical writing experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries is required**

Pharma Marketing Copywriter

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Writing (80%)

• Provide strategic copywriting on communication-related projects
• Collaborate with Project Lead to determine copy directions
• Author core brand story for specialty pharmacy and biotechnology products that drive ownership of the desired brand positioning
• Translate positioning ideas into effective brand stories that can be supported by available science and data
• Craft language that is original, compelling, and commands physician interest to increase product utilization
• Articulate various messaging options, as needed, to allow for customer review and feedback
• Convey sophisticated medical and pharmaceutical concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with Client input for each area of focus
• Clearly communicate evidence-based rationale for recommended brand story to both Project Leads and Clients
• Synthesize input and feedback from both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compelling final deliverables
• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned products and therapeutic categories
• Review documents and presentations developed internally to ensure they are well written and logically structured and ensure copy is in line with established corporate style guidelines

Research and Data Synthesis (20%)

• Research, review, and synthesize clinical information and data relevant to assigned products and therapeutic categories
• Develop internal summary of findings for presentation to Project Lead that allows rapid entrenchment into a given disease state, product features/benefits, and relevant competitive set Identify relevant data elements that support the desired brand positioning and communication platform ideas

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 4 to 6 years medical writing experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries is required
• Demonstrates high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills, with ability to develop work that is on strategy
• Strong medical and scientific research skills a must
• Ability to analyze complex scientific information and data and interpret it for communication application

Must having writing samples/writing portfolio to show.
