Pharmacy Manager – Direct Hire (NO CONTRACT - APPLY ASAP!) - MUST HAVE ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE - Please do not apply if you do not have Oncology!

Location: San Antonio, TX 78240
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000 annually

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of pharmacist experience , including 3 years in oncology or completion of a PGY2 Oncology Residency .
• Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience required.
• Active and unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with strong leadership experience, a background in clinical or oncology pharmacy, and a proven ability to manage teams and optimize pharmaceutical care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical pharmacy operations, including staffing, workflow management, and productivity monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate pharmaceutical care plans and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, including performance evaluations and professional development.
• Conduct and oversee patient evaluations, ensuring appropriate therapy initiation and follow-up.
• Analyze and interpret clinical data to support optimal drug therapy and patient outcomes.
• Monitor therapeutic progress, detect adverse drug reactions, and recommend modifications to therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safe, timely delivery of medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in pharmacy practice, education, and operational efficiency.
• Manage departmental budgets and financial performance.
• Provide education and in-service training for staff, patients, and caregivers.
