We are seeking a Pipe Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new piping systems.

Responsibilities:

• Weld piping and steel of various sizes and materials. Such as carbon steel, stainless, etc. from 1/2" through 18" diameter.
• Fabricate and install new piping systems 
• Repair or modify existing piping systems in a plant environment
• Read and understand welding symbols, isometric drawings, and fabricate to specifications
• Perform quality welds that meet project standards in a shop environment and in pipe racks in a field environment
• Layout, field route, and plan the sequence of installation in order to avoid obstructions and other construction operations in a safe and efficient manner
• Observe and abide by all safety regulations
• Inspect welds for consistency, imperfections, or defects
• Determine the required tools, materials, and equipment to perform tasks safely and efficiently
• Inspect worksite to determine the best location for field welds

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding process & utility piping in a plant environment
• Fluent with welding tools and procedures
• Fluent with isometric drawings
• Ability to handle 10hr. days for 50hr.+ weeks outdoors in various weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work at height from scaffolding or manlifts, in congested areas, on uneven surfaces, and in pipe racks
• Follow verbal and written directions
• Work well with other crew members and personnel onsite
