Overview:

Selux Corporation is hiring a Powder Coater/Painter in their Highland, NY manufactuaring location. This is a full time position with excellent affordable medical, dental and vision benefits, paid holidays, paid time off and 401k match.

Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Performs visual inspection of all materials prior to coating
• Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor
• Quality control of all processes
• Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others
• Must work within the confines of Seluxs PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks.

Qualifications:

Job Knowledge and Skills:

• 1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)
• Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
• Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs
• Frequently required to use hands to handle objects
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision.
