Radisson Portland Hotel is hiring for a Line Cook

We are here to help develop an ALLSTAR team! The ideal candidate is detail-orientated who can help us take it to the next level. A Line Cook will assist in preparing the food items and help ensure supplies at all stations of the kitchen. A great team player!

Essential Duties

• Prepare a variety of food items using various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Consistently adhere to standardized portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality standards for are met.
• Ensure food items are prepared following proper timing standards.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnishment standards for all dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, reach-in cooler, and walk-in cooler.

• Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year related experience and/or training
• Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend English
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current food handler card.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Compensation details: 16-18 Yearly Salary
